Super OBD – Connection Instructions


You must use the correct device for your car (Petrol or Diesel). This device will only work on cars fitted with an OBD port. Petrol cars built since 2003 and Diesel cars built since 2004 have these ports.


  1. Plug the Super OBD into the diagnostic port on your car. The OBD (On Board Diagnostics) port is usually located beneath the steering wheel column and is sometimes behind a plastic door.

  1. Turn your key in the ignition to the on position (do not start the engine), you’ll see a red light appear on the Super OBD device.


iOS / Apple Device

  1. Go to your phones settings page, then wifi settings, connect to WiFi_OBDII
  2. On the same page click the blue I symbol
  3. On the next page in the IP Address section press the button labeled static
  4. In the IP Address box type 192.168.0.11
  5. In the Subnet Mask box type 255.255.255.0
  6. Then press the back arrow at the top of the screen to return to your wifi page
  7. Visit the app store on mobile device and download a free app called OBCCarDoctor.
  8. Press the connect button at the bottom of the screen.
  9. You’ll see some green text at appear and change a few time at the top of the screen, in a few seconds the app will connect to your device. Navigate the app for diagnostic and sensor information.
  10. If the app doesn’t connect after 60 seconds, click disconnect and then click connect again.


Android Device

  1. Go to your phones settings page and select Wi-Fi
  2. Select WiFi_OBDII
  3. Visit the app store on mobile device and download a free app called OBCCarDoctor.
  4. Follow the instructions on screen, selecting connect via WiFi.
